What is open and what is closed?
Services Open
Select services from Public Works and the Fire Department will be in operation or on standby for Statutory and Designated Holidays.
City Offices and Departments
City offices will be closed for Statutory and Designated Holidays.
Waste
There will be no curbside green bin, recycling, or garbage collection on Statutory and Designated Holidays. For questions about curbside collection refer to the collection calendar schedule mailed to residents and available on-line at: Waste/Recycling Collection
Parking
All City of Corner Brook parking regulations and restrictions normally in place will apply on Designated Holidays. Parking meters are not enforced on Saturday and Sunday and Statutory Holidays.
Transit
Transit is not operational during Statutory and Designated Holidays. For further schedule information contact the 2016 transit provider: Murphy Brothers Transit at 639-7287.
Recreation & Sport
The Civic Centre office is closed Statutory and Designated Holidays.
The recreation department is closed Statutory and Designated Holidays.
Waste and Recycling
Check with your local recycling facilities for operation status during Statutory and Designated Holidays:

Waste Management
The Western Regional Waste Management office is closed all listed Statutory and Designated Holidays and additionally Discovery day.
The Waste Management disposal site is only closed New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day
