Effective immediately, commencing at 11:30 a.m., the City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that there will be an emergency water outage and road closure today, Friday, February 17, 2017. The outage and road closure is expected to last for approximately 6 to 8 hours. This is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.
Areas to be affected are as follows:
- Humber Road #’s 223 to 260
In conjunction with the repairs, Humber Road will be closed to through traffic from the east intersection of Station Road to the intersection of Farnell’s Lane. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
