Theatre By The Bay

Corner Brook, NL - Be sure to catch Theatre by the Bay's fantastic summer line-up!

Corner Brook's Theatre by the Bay is a non-profit organization, based on the premise that students should have the opportunity for meaningful summer employment within their field of study. Each summer the theatre company employs theatre students majoring in acting and stagecraft as well as students pursuing visual arts, business, music and careers in tourism and hospitality.

Theatre by the Bay presents a variety of performances throughout the summer. Their hilarious Dinner Theatre filled with song at the Royal Canadian Legion can be seen every Sunday and Monday night. As well, they also present a historical drama every Friday and Saturday night and a light-hearted look at Captain James Cook's life and times at the Cook Monument, Friday through Monday at 2 p.m. daily weather permitting

New for 2003 are the Bus and Group Tours. Theatre by the Bay will fit into your schedule if you can't match theirs. From 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on their regular performance days (Friday to Monday), the show JAMES COOK can be booked to match your arrival at the Cook Monument. Rain location is the Fine Arts Theatre at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College. A $50.00 (tax included) booking fee will guarantee the performance.
