The Family Adventure Park

The weather is warming up and the kids will be soon out of school for the summer and that means a busy time for the owners and staff of the Family Adventure Park.   Preparations are under way for a summer of family fun at one of western Newfoundland’s most popular destinations during the warm summer months.  The adventure park first opened its doors in 2004 and has seen an increase in visitation every year since and this trend is expected to continue this summer.  An increase in marketing of the facility, which includes a new website, is helping to get the word out on what’s available at the park to not only tourists but also to local residents that have never visited the park.

The Family Adventure Park, located on Lundrigan Drive in the City of Corner Brook, is a very popular family destination as the facility offers a wide range of activities for the whole family.  A water slide, heated pool, heated kids wading pool, mini-golf, driving range, RV sites and propane fill up are all major attractions for families looking for some outdoor fun. The Park officially opened its doors for the 2006 season in early May with everything open besides the water slide and pool which are set to open the middle of June.

The Family Adventure Park's main building features a fully serviced restaurant and licensed lounge. Washrooms are wheelchair accessible, and outside a large 100 person patio over-looks the water park area.  So if waterslides and golf balls are not your cup of tea you can still drop by for a bite to eat or beverage on the deck at the Family Adventure Park.  The owners and staff invite you to drop by with the whole family this summer and enjoy a day or weekend of fun.
