September, 2006 Academy Canada It’s early September and schools around the city are abuzz with new students looking for classes, books, and accommodations and teachers preparing course material. Local private colleges are also busy getting students enrolled in programs and helping make the transition to college life as smooth as possible. Academy College’s Corner Brook Campus has been no different with staff working around the lock to ensure student’s needs are looked after. September 6th was the schools official registration day with school officials reporting student enrollment being on par with prior years. Academy Canada, founded in 1985, has grown to be the largest independent career college in Eastern Canada.
