The Corner Brook region is serviced by two airports, both of which are within a one-hour drive of the City.

Deer Lake Regional Airport (Airport Code: YDF)
With one full serviced, paved runway, (6000 ft by 150 ft.) the airport offers a wide variety of services. A modern air terminal building offers several national and regional scheduled and charter services, car rental agencies, downtown shuttle service, restaurant, gift shop and a comfortable waiting area.

Stephenville Airport (Airport Code: YJT)
The Stephenville Airport specializes in freight and commercial air services and is the nearest authorized Canadian Customs Port of Entry and Exit for air cargo and passengers to Corner Brook. The airport features two asphalt runways (10,000 ft by 200 ft. and 4,400 ft. by 150 ft.) and offers passengers national and regional air service as well as international refueling and cargo services.

The Port of Corner Brook
The Port of Corner Brook supports industry and distribution for Corner Brook and the western region of the province. The natural deep water port is navigable year-round, with ice breaking services available during the winter. Fog rarely interferes with the operations of the Port.

Marine Atlantic
This Crown Corporation's ferry service is an essential component of the province's transportation system. Goods and passengers transported between Newfoundland and Labrador and mainland Canada by road make part of their trip on one of three passenger super ferries operated by Marine Atlantic. Year-round service is provided between North Sydney, Nova Scotia and Port aux Basques, which is 210 km from Corner Brook on the Trans Canada Highway. The regular schedule is expanded during the summer tourist season to accommodate the increased passenger traffic.

Trans Canada Highway
The Trans Canada Highway is the world's longest highway, stretching over 7,184 km from St. John's, NL to Victoria BC. The highway passes by Corner Brook's front door and the City is easily accessible via one of four exits.

Exit 4 services industrial traffic, exiting onto the Lewin Parkway, a service road that encircles the City. Two industrial parks (Country Road and Watson's Pond) are located adjacent to the Lewin Parkway and a growing number of businesses take advantage of the easy access for freight and delivery vehicles.

Exit 5 is Massey Drive & Confederation Drive.

Exit 6 is Lewin Parkway in the Murphy's Square retail area

Exit 7 is at Riverside Drive.
