By Air

Deer Lake Regional Airport is the 4th busiest airport in Atlantic Canada providing passenger, cargo, courier, and charter services. It serves Western Newfoundland with scheduled direct passenger service to and from St. John’s, Halifax and Toronto where connections are available to other worldwide destinations. Air Canada, Provincial Airlines, West Jet, and Sunwing provide regular sevice with enhanced flight availability during the summer to accommodate increased traffic volume. Deer Lake airport is a designated “Airport of Entry” and is able to offer full custom services on a seasonal basis.

Stephenville Airport specializes in freight and commercial air services. Provincial Airlines provides daily passenger service to and from St. John’s 6 times a week and Sunwing Airlines offers seasonal service to and from Toronto 2 days a week.

By Road

By Water

The Corner Brook Port services both container and cruise ships. Oceanex provides year-round weekly container shipping service from Corner Brook to St. John’s, NL and Halifax, NL and seasonal service to Montreal, QC.   

Marine Atlantic operates twice daily passenger/cargo return ferry from Port aux Basques, NL (220 km southwest of Corner Brook) to North Sydney, NS (408 km east of Halifax, NS).
