Emergency Services

Please call 9-1-1 in the case of an emergency. Do not contact your local fire station in the case of an emergency, always call 911.

Non-Emergency Services

Fire Stations offer non-emergency services which help all citizens.

Fire Station Tours – Fire Station Tours are an opportunity to see and learn about modern firefighting equipment, including fire trucks, and to ask firefighters those questions you’ve always wanted to.

To schedule public education events such as fire safety presentations, extinguisher training, the fire safety house, etc. please contact our public education 709-637-1660.

Our Fire Station personnel provide high quality, efficient and effective emergency response along with fire prevention and education services to those who live in, work in, and visit the Corner Brook area.

The Corner Brook Fire Department prides itself on being able to offer effective fire protection to residents of the City as well as to all those who choose to visit or work here.

The department celebrated sixty years of service to the community in 2013 and its members have a total combined experience in excess of one thousand years.  This type of experience is valuable to each one of us as we continue in our efforts towards a fire safe City.

Fire safety is not an accident.  By working together, we can all reduce the numbers and severity of fire incidents.  Although, each year, one week is set aside as Fire Prevention Week, we all should make the effort to be fire safe all year round.  This department asks your help in preventing fires and welcomes your questions and concerns related to fire and life safety.
