  • administering the policies and regulations of the Municipal Plan, Development Regulations, and  other guidelines where applicable; and
  • consulting with the community, internal/external City departments and other interests groups as needed to ensure that any proposed development plans, policies or processes benefit the future of Corner Brook.

Integrated Community Sustainable Plan (ICSP)

The City of Corner Brook 1994 Municipal Plan & Development Regulations are getting a sustainable overhaul. The Municipal Plan will be replaced by the Integrated Community Sustainable Plan (ICSP) Municipal Plan with comprehensive changes to the Development Regulations. Corner Brook has many initiatives that not only make Corner Brook the hub of Western Newfoundland, but also the catalyst and centre of commerce, government, health care, industry and other development, and therefore sustainability for the western region.
