CORNER BROOK VOTES: September 26, 2017

Across the province, general municipal elections are held every four years on the last Tuesday in September.  In Corner Brook voters choose one Mayor and six Councillors for City Council. The Municipal Elections Act is established by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and outlines the administrative structure and requirements of the municipal election process.  Under the Act, the City Clerk is responsible for conducting the elections in the City of Corner Brook.

The nomination period for the 2017 Municipal Election will be held on Thursday, 31 August 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The next municipal election will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
