The City commissioned MQO Research to conduct an impartial Citizen Survey. Telephone interviews were conducted with 400 randomly selected residents between August 31-September 16 in regards to overall perception of City services, customer service, taxation, and ways to improve the quality of life for residents .

On Tuesday, October 30 2018, the Citizen Survey results will be presented. Mayor Parsons, Council, and staff will be available to discuss the results and answer questions. Throughout the presentation there will be  live interactive polling using a web based mobile polling app (mentimeter) where the results will be displayed in real-time.

Participants are asked to bring a smartphone, computer or tablet however, a few devices will be available.

Collaborative consultation group discussion will take place on the second hour of the forum.

Citizen Survey Results Public Forum and Budget Consultation

In December, Council will be presenting the 2019 budget. The results of the survey will be used to help guide Council in its decision making. The citizens survey forum will be an opportunity for results to have impact in helping Council set goals and strategies to meet the changing need and expectations of residents.
