Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 19, 20, 21 2018. The Long Range Quilters Guild will be presenting its “A Modern Twist” quilt show and sale on Friday October 19th 12 noon-9:00 pm, Saturday October 20th 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and Sunday October 21st 10:00 am -4:00 pm at the Corner Brook Civic Centre, University Drive, Corner Brook. There will be over 100 quilts on display as well as a Quilters’ Boutique with a variety of quilted items for sale. As always, there will be various quilting demonstrations by members of the guild for those interested in learning about new techniques and tools. Tickets will also be on sale for the beautiful quilt “Love Links” designed by Running with Scissors Quilters and Studio Design 180 design (with permission) and made by members of the Quilt Show committee.
Again, this year there will be a Merchant Mall for all your quilting needs. Come and enjoy a stunning array of quilts and cast your vote for the “Viewer’s Choice Awards”. Don’t miss out on these eye candies. Come for the whole weekend to avail of the many demonstrations and get an early start on those Christmas gifts. Admission is $5.00.
