Green Roof

City Hall’s Green Roof is now open for the season!!

City Hall’s Green Roof is open to the public and is accessible from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.  Residents are encouraged to check out this spectacular environmental feature.

Along with providing a beautiful view of the city, the roof is home to more than 10,000 plants, which help reduce the carbon footprint of the building.

Visitors are asked to observe the following guidelines when visiting the Green Roof.

  1. The Green Roof is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  2. Guest must sign in and out at the Customer Service Desk on the first floor.
  3. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  4. Smoking is not permitted.
  5. Pets are not permitted
  6. Skateboards and scooters are not permitted.
  7. Walking is permitted on the wooden pathway only.
  8. Please do not pick flowers or disturb the vegetation in any way.
  9. Throwing items off the rood is strictly prohibited.
  10. Leaning, sitting, walking or placing items on the perimeter will is strictly prohibited.
  11. Fire escape to be used only in an emergency.
  12. To avoid scratches, please do not lean or rub up against the perimeter wall panels.
  13. Place all garbage and recyclables in the containers provided inside the door.
