Railway Society of Newfoundland Historic
A showcase of the proud rail heritage of Newfoundland. The site has retained the Newfie Bullet - the former fastest train in Newfoundland - as well as vintage railway equipment and track. Other artifacts are also on display from June through August.

3rd - Household Hazardous Waste Days
In an effort to keep hazardous material out of the landfill, the City of Corner Brook will be holding Household Hazardous Waste Days in the spring and fall of 2009. Residents can drop off their household hazardous items such as batteries, cleaners, paint, pesticides, etc. at the City Hall parking lot.
 

November

Annual Fall Leaf Collection - Date to be announced
The City of Corner Brook will be conducting a fall leaf collection program. Curbside collection of leaves will take place on regular garbage collection days for one week in November. Check back for more details.
 
11th – Remembrance Day Parade
The parade will begin at 10 pm and will march down West Street with the ceremony beginning at 11pm at the Cenotaph.

Santa Clause Parade will begin at 10am from the Pepsi Centre – for more information please contact the Lions Club at 634-8090 – Date to be determined.
