Located in Deer Lake on Route 430, The Newfoundland Insectarium is unique to Eastern Canada. Exhibits show live and preserved insects from Newfoundland and around the world. See live tarantulas, scorpions and giant cockroaches. Locate the queen among 20,000 honeybees in the observation beehive. See exotic live butterflies up close in the butterfly pavilion. It's a fun and educational museum that the whole family will love!
