Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook

Western Health Care Corporation is committed to serving individuals, families and communities, ensuring the residents of the western region have the best possible health services. We operate nine facilities in six communities; in Corner Brook, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, the Dr. J.I. O'Connell Centre and the Corner Brook Inter-faith Home for Senior Citizens; in Stephenville, the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital; in Stephenville Crossing, the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre; in Port aux Basques, the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre; in Norris Point, the Bonne Bay Health Centre; in Port Saunders, the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre; and in Burgeo, Calder Health Centre. Because of the vast size of the region under the Corporation's jurisdiction, it has been subdivided into seven districts: Port aux Basques, Burgeo, Bay St. George, Corner Brook, Bonne Bay, Deer Lake/White Bay South and Port Saunders.

Health and Community Services Western (HCSW) is a regional health and community services organization operating in the western region of Newfoundland and Labrador. The organization provides health and community services in communities from Bartlett's Harbour in the north, Baie Verte Junction in the east, Burgeo and Francois in the south, and Cape Anguille the west. HCSW is governed by the Western Regional Health and Community Services Board, as appointed by the Provincial Government.
