2 Billion Trees Project
Join us on Wednesday, September 20th for an afternoon of planting trees at the Griffin Drive Parking Lot (around the 3 art pieces), Broadway (Green space across from upper Sobeys entrance), and the Centre for Research and Innovation.
Following this event, there will be a presentation at the CRI discussing the ongoing ‘2 Billion Trees Project’. The City of Corner Brook has been an active participant in addressing the impacts of climate change and loss of biodiversity within urban forests across Canada.
The presentation is open to all members of the public and will serve as an information session for those interested in learning more about the goals and ongoing efforts of Corner Brook’s involvement in the ‘2 Billion Trees Project.’
