Water Outage and Road Closure

The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that a water outage and road closure has been scheduled for Monday, December 18th, 2017, commencing at 8:30 a.m. This outage and road closure is expected to last for approximately 6-8 hours. This is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

  • East Valley Road #’s 179 to 202
  • Westview Avenue
  • Ingrid Avenue
  • Brookfield Avenue #’s 89 to 134
  • Stonehenge Place
  • Braemar Crescent
  • Kilrannoch Place
  • Raymond Heights #’s 44 to 75

In conjunction with the repairs:  

East Valley Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Brookfield Avenue to the intersection of Willow Avenue.  

Brookfield Avenue will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of East Valley Road to the intersection of Raymond Heights. 

Prince George Avenue will be closed to through traffic. 

The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
