The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that the following road closure remains in effect until further notice as of Sunday, January 14th, 2018. The current road closure is necessary for road repairs and maintenance.

 Street remaining closed:

• Porters Lane- The general motoring public is strongly advised to use an alternate route.

Streets reopened

• Upper Walbourne road
• Upper Boone’s road
• O’Connell Drive
• upper Reid’s Road
• lower Elizabeth street

A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory remains in effect due to repairs to the water distribution system until further notice.

Areas affected are as follows:

• Elizabeth Street #’s 1 to 75
• Philip Drive to the intersection of Gushue Place
• Gushue Place
• Beothuck Crescent
• Charles Street
