TAKE NOTICE that under and by virtue of the provisions of Section 162.5 of the City of Corner Brook Act, RSNL 1990, c. C-15, an auction will be held at Corner Brook City Hall on the third floor, Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, on the  20^th day of March, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to sell the following parcels of land in the City of Corner Brook, Province of Newfoundland and Labrador:

• 38 Coronation Street
• 43 Petries Street
• 7 Dawe Place
• 6 McWhirters Lane
• 51 Doves Road

The said auction will be held to satisfy real property tax arrears held by the City of Corner Brook.

TERMS OF SALE:  At the conclusion of the auction, the successful bidder must pay down an immediate deposit of ten percent (10%) of the amount of their bid and shall immediately sign an Agreement of Purchase and Sale.  The balance of the purchase price shall be due on closing.  All amounts shall be paid by bank draft, certified cheque or cash in favour of the City of Corner Brook.

The transaction shall be completed within thirty (30) days of the date of auction.  The City of Corner Brook reserves the right to bid for and purchase any one or more of the aforementioned properties and the auction shall be conducted subject to this right.  The City of Corner Brook reserves the right to cancel the auction at any time without notice.  The sale shall be conducted subject to the provisions of the City of Corner Brook Act.
