Blizzard warning in effect for:

• Corner Brook and vicinity

Blizzard conditions with poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected or occurring. Heavy snowfall combined with very strong winds will continue to produce blizzard conditions with near zero visibilities today.

To assist snow clearing efforts residents are cautioned to think about safety, and avoid unnecessary travel. Vehicles may be removed from streets to accommodate snow plows, and residents should refrain from shoveling snow onto streets.

Transit delay: Due to inclement weather the transit system will be delayed until 10:00 am to allow for snow clearing to occur and buses to be safe. For transit information call
