City flags will be lowered to half-mast on Friday, May 18, 2018, on the day of the funeral service for former City Councillor Hubert Harnett. We extend our condolences to the family of former Councillor Harnett.

Mr. Harnett served two terms on Council.

• 1967-1969 (Fourth Corner Brook City Council)
• 1970-1973 (Fifth Corner Brook City Council)

Mr. Harnett passed away on May 7, 2018 at the age of 85. He will be remembered for his strong leadership, and unwavering dedication to the community. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 18 at 2:00 pm.
