Western Regional Waste Management has provided the sub-region launch dates for the new recycling and waste management program.

Sort-It-Western will enable residents to sort their waste into two streams:

• using clear bags for garbage,
• and blue bags for recyclables

The roll-out dates by sub-region are as follows:

• Corner Brook, Humber Valley, Pasadena & Bay St. George areas – July 16, 2018

A list of materials that can go in the blue recycling bag is available on WRWM’s website. Additional information will be made available to the public closer to the program launch. Residents are encouraged to read the Frequently Asked Questions about the Sort-it Western program posted on www.wrwm.ca.
