(Corner Brook, NL) September 24, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region is issuing a public advisory regarding a temporary road closure in Corner Brook.

The RNC would like to advise motorists in Corner Brook that O’Connell Drive from the West Valley Road intersection to the University Drive/Mount Bernard Avenue intersection will be closed to through traffic.  Margaret Bowater Park will be accessible only via the University Drive/Mount Bernard Avenue intersection.  Elswick Road will be accessible for local traffic only.  The road closure is expected to last for 4-5 hours for the replacement of a cracked utility pole.

Newfoundland Power is currently working to have this matter resolved as quickly as possible.
