Public Advisory: No On-Street Parking Tickets will be issued New Year’s Eve

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Corner Brook Region and City of Corner Brook would like to remind the public to ring in the New Year responsibly.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region, and the City of Corner Brook would like to advise the public that, from 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2018 to 8:00 a.m. on January 1, 2019 no tickets will be issued for on-street parking in the City of Corner Brook.
This initiative is only in relation to the winter ban for on-street parking. The RNC will be enforcing other sections of the Highway Traffic Act including parking to obstruct traffic, fire hydrants and sidewalks.
Residents and visitors are asked to celebrate responsibly and plan a safe ride home.
