Main Street Bridge will be fully re-opened to traffic Monday, December 10, 2018 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Work will continue on the bridge, motorists are asked to drive with caution and to follow road signs in these areas.

Main Street Bridge has been closed to traffic since September 4, 2018.  The closure of the bridge was required to demolish the old bridge and move the new overpass in its place.

An official Bridge Opening Ceremony is being planned for the spring 2019 when the weather is conducive to final decorative touches and landscaping.

The City of Corner Brook would like to thank you for your cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
