Effective immediately, commencing at 10:00 am., the City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that there will be an emergency water outage and road closure today, Friday, January 11, 2019. The outage is expected to last for approximately 6 to 8 hours and is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

• Crestview Ave. #’s 36 to 42
• Walsh St. #’s 31, 33 & 35

In conjunction with the repairs, Crestview Ave. will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Penney’s Ave. to the intersection of Walsh St. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
