The local Strategic Tourism for Areas and Region (STAR) Committee is looking for tourism feedback in Corner Brook, Lower Humber, and Bay of Island area. The Star Committee is inviting the public and local stakeholders to participate in the:

The session will include:

• A 2-hour workshop, with the STAR consultant to help develop a strategy through regional research and community consultations to increase tourism opportunities and revenue in our region

Input is critical for the success of this project. Over a period of 12-18 months, the primary goal is to develop a tourism plan for the region based upon the strengths and assets in the area. By creating a shared vision and strategy, regional stakeholders will be able to move into an identified branded direction where opportunities from collaboration and joint marketing would benefit the region. The City of Corner Brook STAR committee and Tract Consulting are leading the initiative.
