The local Strategic Tourism for Areas and Region (STAR) Committee is looking for tourism feedback in the Corner Brook, Lower Humber, and Bay of Island area. The Star Committee is inviting the public and local stakeholders to a consultation and to participate in one of the following sessions:

Tourism Stakeholders and Members of the Public are encouraged to attend:

• A 2-hour workshop, with the STAR consultant to help develop a strategy through regional research and community consultations to increase tourism opportunities and revenue in our region

Input is critical for the success of this project. Over a period of 12-18 months, the primary goal is to develop a tourism plan for the region based upon the strengths and assets in the area. By creating a shared vision and strategy, regional stakeholders will be able to move into an identified branded direction where opportunities from collaboration and joint marketing would benefit the region. The City of Corner Brook STAR committee and Tract Consulting are leading the initiative.
