Water Outage & Road Closure – Caribou Road

The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses in the following areas that a Water Outage and Road Closure has been scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2019. The road closure will commence at 8:30 AM and is expected to last 10 to 12 hours.  The water outage will commence at 1:00 PM and is expected to last for approximately 6 to 8 hours. The water outage and road closure is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

  • Caribou Road #’s 4-52
  • Prince Street #’s 2-11
  • East Street #’s 3-21
  • West Avenue
  • Roan Street
  • Blackwood’s Hill

In conjunction with the repairs, Caribou Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of West Avenue to Greenings Hill. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
