All City of Corner Brook offices will be closing on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. to allow employees the statutory time to cast their ballot in the provincial election.

Eligible employees are entitled to four (4) consecutive hours to vote during the period of time in which the polls are open, as per the Elections Act, 1991 and the Municipal Elections Act.

The 2019 provincial general election will take place on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Voters will have from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. local time to select a candidate in their riding.
