PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by virtue of Section 229 (1) (e) of the City of Corner Brook Act, 1990, and all other enabling powers, the Council of the City of Corner Brook, at its Regular Council Meeting of July 15, 2019, brought forward proposed amendments to Schedule D of the City of Corner Brook Taxi Regulations, 2018, as follows:

SCHEDULE D – TARIFF OF FARES

• Increase the Meter Drop Rate from $3.32 to $4.13;
• For each .125 kilometers, increase from $.22 to $.26;
• For each additional kilometer, increase from $1.76 to $2.11
• Increase Waiting Time from $28.76 to $34.51.

Applicable HST may be added and included in the fare shown on the meter.
