The City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses in the following areas that a Water Outage has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2019, commencing at 8:00 AM.  The water outage is expected to last for approximately 8 to 10 hours. In addition, a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory will be in effect. The water outage and precautionary boil water advisory are necessary to make upgrades to the water distribution system through Capital Works improvements.

Areas to be affected are as follows:

  • Greenings Hill Including Side Roads
  • Poplar Road
  • Country Road #’s 5, 29, 33, 35
  • Caribou Road #’s 53-156
  • Kings Road
  • Aspen Road
  • Carmen Ave #’s 1-28 & 37
  • Fairview Ave
  • Notre Dame #’s 14-23
  • Stratton’s Road # 22 & 25
  • Burkes Road #’s 30-45
  • Prince Street #3
  • Watsons Road #17
  • Bliss Street #’s 20, 24 & 26
  • Summit Road

Due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the systems, the boil water advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice. You will be advised when the boil water advisory has been lifted.
