The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Corner Brook Region and City of Corner Brook would like to remind the public to ring in the New Year responsibly.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region, and the City of Corner Brook would like to advise the public that, from 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2019 to 8:00 a.m. on January 1, 2020 no tickets will be issued for on-street parking in the City of Corner Brook.
This initiative is only in relation to the winter ban for on-street parking. This allows residents and visitors until January 1st, 11:59 pm to remove a parked vehicle.
In the event of a major storm: exceptions may apply and will be announced on the City of Corner Brook’s Website.
Residents and visitors are asked to celebrate responsibly and plan a safe ride home.
“This joint initiative is designed to improve the safety of our roads and make sure everyone arrives home safely and can enjoy the holiday season with family and friends.”
