Additional City of Corner Brook Facilities Closed Until Further Notice

CORNER BROOK – With the fluid situation of the COVID-19 outbreak developing nationally, the City of Corner Brook has decided to take proactive measures to provide a safe workplace while maintaining services within the City.

The City Fire Hall is indefinitely closed to the public. If someone must visit they are asked to make an appointment by calling 637-1611.

The Water Treatment Plant is indefinitely closed to the public.

Operations within these two facilities will remain unaffected and staff are taking proactive measures to maintain health and safety.

For property tax, residents are encouraged to make payments without visiting City Hall. Payments can be sent by mail, through telephone banking, online banking, or by preauthorized payments.  For further information, contact Customer Service at 637-1500 or the Tax Collector at 637-1568.

The City of Corner Brook is committed to providing quality services to the residents of Corner Brook. Staff and resident safety is also a top priority. Some further measures may come into effect throughout the week and we will inform staff and residents accordingly. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this time.
