March 12, 2020:  With the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) currently top news in Canada, the City of Corner Brook would like to provide some information for residents:

As of today (March 12, 2020) there have been no confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in Newfoundland and Labrador. At this time, assessment of overall public health risk to Canadians remains low.

The City of Corner Brook Protective Services department has been in consultation with Health and Community Services as well as Western Health. Everyone has a role to play in reducing the spread of disease, including Covid-19. It is important to remain calm and follow the advice of health authorities.
