Important Numbers During COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

The City of Corner Brook Protective Services department has been made aware of some confusion regarding services and contact numbers during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
For the information of residents, we would like to clarify some procedures below on behalf of Western Health and Law Enforcement agencies.
811
If you are symptomatic, please stay isolated and use the online COVID-19 811 Self-Assesment tool, here: www.811healthline.ca/covid-19-self-assessment. You will receive further advice after using the self-assessment tool. This can also be used on-behalf of someone who is symptomatic and does not have access to a computer.
After using the Self-Assessment tool, follow its advice on contacting the 811 number.
The Emergency testing centre in the parking lot of the Civic Centre Annex is only available by referral and appointment.
Self-Isolation
Anyone arriving to Newfoundland and Labrador from outside of Canada on or after March 14, 2020 at 7:00pm NDT is required to self-isolate for 14 days after their arrival in Canada.
Anyone arriving to the province from outside of Newfoundland and Labrador on or after March 20, 2020 is required to self-isolate for 14 days after their arrival.

If you wish to communicate a concern about an individual or business that may be acting in contradiction to the orders issued under the Public Health Protection and Promotion Act, do not call 911. Please go to www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19.

Businesses and workplaces who need information about cleaning/disinfection, social distancing or other inquiries can call (709) 637-2204 to speak with Environmental Health Officers at Government Service Centres.
