The Irish Descendants to Headline Jigs and Wheels Festival in July

CORNER BROOK – The City of Corner Brook, in partnership with Steady Entertainment, Rugged Edge, and Saltbox/ Everoutdoor Adventures are pleased to announce the musical lineup for this year’s inaugural Jigs & Wheels Festival, celebrating the natural beauty of our region through culture and adventure.

During this four-day festival the City will welcome the Fine Lads, Rum Ragged and the Irish Descendants to our stages. The festival will also include local acts such as the Humber Road Greasers, the Mixed Tapes, Big Talk Sam, Rev. Dave and the Sin Eaters, Tom Boland Duo, Aaron and the Beards and Midnight Crescent. This incredible roster of Newfoundland and Labrador talent will be performing at Margaret Bowater Park, the return of Blame It On Broadway, and the Saturday Night Street Concert on West St.

Thursday, July 30th

  • Concert in Margaret Bowater Park featuring: The Humber Road Greasers and the Mixed Tapes.

Friday, July 31st

  • Blame it on Broadway…Again – the return of the blockbuster street festival featuring: Fine Lads, Rum Ragged and the Irish Descendants.

Saturday, August 1st

  • Street Concert on West Street – more great music and a fantastic beer tent featuring: Big Talk Sam, Rev. Dave and the Sin Eaters, Tom Boland Duo, Aaron and the Beards and Midnight Crescent.
