Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the City of Corner Brook must unfortunately cancel this year’s inaugural Jigs & Wheels festival scheduled for July 30 – August 2, 2020.
This decision was made under the advisory of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Chief Medical Officer, which restricts large gatherings for the foreseeable future.
The organizing committee was excited to bring this festival to Corner Brook and surrounding areas, with an exceptional lineup of events and musical artists in store. We would like to thank our partners, sponsors and musicians for coming on board, and we look forward to working with them in 2021.
Those who have purchased tickets will receive a full refund as soon as possible.
“It is disappointing that we have had to cancel this year’s event, but the health and safety of our residents and those who would have visited is so important. We respect and appreciate the advice of the Chief Medical Officer and look forward to putting together Jigs and Wheels in 2021! Stay tuned for dates, and we’ll see you next year.” – Councillor Tony Buckle
