For the information of residents: Line Painting on roadways will begin on Monday, June 1. The work will begin downtown and work its way to other parts of the City. Whenever possible, the City of Corner Brook will advise the public via social media of new painting zones.

Employee safety is a top priority, and The City of Corner Brook has taken every precaution internally to ensure the safety of workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic. With this in mind, we ask residents to please do their part while public works staff and City contractors are out in the community. Some ways you can do this are:

• Keep a physical distance of at least two metres (six feet) from staff while they are working.
• When you encounter road work while driving, please be patient and pass with reduced speed and at least two metres (six feet) of space.
