Summer roadwork in the City of Corner Brook is scheduled to begin Saturday, July 4th. 

Asphalt patching will start in the townsite and humber west areas, with further announcements to come for other parts of the City. Paving is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, July 13th in the townsite area. 

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and approach roadwork crews with patience. Flag-people will be on-site wherever necessary to direct traffic. In some cases there may be delays, so please give yourselves extra time for daily commutes and errands. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Additionally, on Monday, July 13th, the culvert replacement at the intersection of Woodmans Avenue and O’Connell Drive is scheduled to begin. A traffic diversion will be created for this work, however motorists are advised to take alternate routes wherever possible or expect some delays. Flag-people will be onsite to direct traffic whenever necessary. Work will take place Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
