With the holidays approaching, The City of Corner Brook would like to remind residents of some changes to operational schedules.

Garbage

Please double check your 2020 garbage collection schedule, which can be found here. Remember, the first collection day following a holiday will have a 6 bag limit. Cardboard should be broken down and put in blue bags. There is no limit on weekly blue bags.

Bulk waste bins will be available at the Civic Centre Parking Lot from December 28 – January 4. These containers are available for additional household garbage ONLY. Ie: Only what you would normally put out for curbside pickup. Please see here for a detailed guide from Western Regional Waste Management.

Christmas tree collection will take place January 11 – 15, 2021 on your regular collection days.

City Hall

City Hall will close at Noon on Thursday, Dec 24 and reopen on Tuesday, Dec 29.
City Hall will also close at noon on Thursday, Dec 31 and reopen on Monday, January 4.

The Customer Service Line is operated 24/7 and public works employees are on call in the event of an emergency. If You have a concern, please call 637-1666 to report it.
