In keeping with recommendations from the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the City of Corner Brook will be immediately reverting to Alert Level 5.

The following measures are in effect until further notice:

• City Hall is closed to the public.
• The City Fire Hall is closed to the public.
• The Water Treatment Plant is closed to the public.
• The Public Works depot is closed to the public, and staff will operate on a call-in basis.
• The Corner Brook Civic Centre is closed to the public.
• Public council meetings will take place via Zoom and broadcast on our Facebook page.
• Garbage pickup will remain on its regular schedule.

Operations within these facilities will remain unaffected and staff will continue to provide valuable services to the community while also following Public Health guidelines. Some further measures may come into effect throughout the week and we will inform staff and residents accordingly. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this time.

If residents have any issues regarding City services such as water/ wastewater, snow clearing or other concerns they are encouraged to call 637-1666.

Property tax payments are due by February 28. Residents now have more options for payment than ever before. For further information follow this link www.cornerbrook.com/payment-options, contact Customer Service at 637-1500 or the Tax Collector at 637-1568.
