Effective immediately, commencing at 1:30 p.m., the City of Corner Brook wishes to advise residents and businesses that there will be an emergency water outage and lane closure today, Thursday April 1, 2021. The outage is expected to last for approximately 6 to 8 hours and is necessary to make repairs to the water distribution system.
Areas to be affected are as follows:
- O’Connell Drive #’s 238-252
In conjunction with the repairs, O’Connell Drive will be reduced to two lanes from the intersection of Bliss Street to the intersection of Empire Street. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
