The City of Corner Brook has received an application requesting permission for a 6% size variance to a previously approved 10 sq. /meter digital sign located on the building at 3 Herald Avenue, Corner Brook, NL. The new sign is proposed to be 10.6 sq./ meters.

The purpose of the sign is to display Third Party advertisements which includes, “advertising goods and services that are not available upon the same property or premises where the sign is located and includes advertisements relating to off-site uses.”

The sign will be located in the Downtown Commercial Zone where Third Party Advertisement Signs that are proposed to exceed of 10 sq. /meters are required to be advertised through a public notice.
