Residents are advised that the intersection of West Valley Road and Confederation Drive is TENTATIVELY scheduled to close from Saturday June 5 – Sunday June 6, 2021, from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on both days. This is necessary in order to complete paving as we enter the final phase of the ongoing project.

Motorists are advised to use the following detours:

– Massey Drive residents can access or leave Corner Brook through Exits 5 and 6 via the Trans Canada Highway.
– Traffic on West Valley Road can access Confederation Drive via MacPherson Avenue, Brookfield Avenue and Lewin Parkway.
– Access to and from Massey Drive and Crocker’s Road will be allowed via Exit 5.

Local traffic will be allowed. Golf Course access will be through West Valley Road only. The Visitor’s Information Centre, Irving Gas Bar and Corner Brook Bay Wash will be allowed through the North side of construction on Confederation Drive. Signage and flag people will be in place to direct people during this time.

Please proceed with caution when approaching the area as well as entering and exiting. This is scheduled tentatively due to weather. Should we need to reschedule an advisory will be issued to local media and on our social media channels as well as on www.cornerbrook.com. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
