Proof of Vaccination Required for Civic Centre Entry

PUBLIC ADVISORY
Beginning today (October 19, 2021) with a soft-launch of the system, the Corner Brook Civic Centre will require proof of vaccination upon entry. This implementation strategy is intended to work out any challenges with the process before Friday October 22, 2021. All visitors, customers, suppliers and contractors over the age of 12 will be required to provide proof of vaccination along with appropriate identification to enter the building. There is an exemption for individuals between the age of 12-18 that are actively participating in sport or recreational activities.
The three primary entrances to the Civic Centre (Studio, Kinsmen and Main) will only be open as required for operations. Each entrance will have a person verifying Covid-19 proof of vaccinations and checking corresponding ID.
The Studio and Kinsmen entrances will be open while activity is scheduled. The Main Entrance will only be open Monday to Sunday while the Walking Track is open to the general public during morning walking hours; and as necessary to host meetings, events and conferences. Users, suppliers or others may call the office and request access Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
We appreciate the public’s patience while we navigate this new system.
