Join the Corner Brook: Planning Together team on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. for an online presentation of the Best Practice Paper, which will be followed by a question and answer session.

The Best Practice Paper describes potential tools and strategies The City could use to address key challenges Corner Brook may face over the next decade. The planning team will present their observations from prior consultation and visits, outlining their findings and what solutions or strategies The City may consider. The topics include climate change, urban sprawl and housing choice, aging infrastructure as well as demographic and economic uncertainty.

Following the online presentation, a public survey will become available that will help shape the new Integrated Municipal Sustainability Plan based on the best practices. Once the survey closes in December, the consultants will present the results to Council in the New Year for discussion.
