Previous Release (Jan 25):

The City of Corner Brook is pleased to announce that select activities will begin again at the Civic Centre while critical work continues to take place.

  • Starting today (January 25) and onwards the walking track will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. with access through the main entrance, and then from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with access through the Kinsmen Arena entrance. Some changes to this schedule may occur based on need and will be posted on the Civic Centre website and on Social Media.
  • Annex activities will resume starting tomorrow, January 26, 2022. Staff are working with user groups on timing and public health protocols.
  • Ice programming will take place in the Kinsmen Arena. Staff are working with user groups on timing and public health protocols.
  • Forever Young Fitness, Natural Therapies and Saltos will remain open according to their own schedules.

Because of these repairs, ice was taken off the main arena. This means General Skating will not take place, but it is expected to return once the ice is back.

Civic Centre Staff will work from home for the time being and are available to answer any inquiries. Please contact 637-1230.

We would like to thank the public for their cooperation while these repairs take place.
