Canada Day Schedule of Events

Canada Day is coming up on July 1st, and the City of Corner Brook has an exciting lineup of events to celebrate!

The day will start with a flag raising at City Hall, 8:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast at the Humber Community YMCA (lower level, Millbrook Mall) at 9:00 a.m.

At noon there will be a bike rodeo on the Playground Side of Margaret Bowater Park, then the party in the park will commence! It will be a full afternoon of activities with Zumba, cake, children’s entertainment, live music and some fireworks at Captain Cook’s Lookout to end the day. We’ll also have other fun activities throughout the day such as rock hunts, scavenger hunts, face painting and much more!

We can’t wait to see you out in public once again for an exciting celebration.

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. YMCA Zumba class (free to the public)

1:45 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Cake Cutting and Speeches

2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. Rebecca Hampton and Melanie Gosse (Children’s Entertainment)

3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Naughty Pine

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The Griffins

11:00 p.m. Fireworks at Captain Cook’s Lookout!
